DreamWalk’s unique new Proof Program™ is all about fast app development. Working with our expert Australian iPhone app developers, Proof enables you get a basic version of your app to market quickly and cost-effectively. This way you can validate the idea and build an audience before you commit to investing more money in the project. We call these proof-of-concept apps and they are a great way to test your ideas on the market with minimal risk.
Our Proof Program™ pairs your app concept with a team of three experts in a hackathon environment. Together you’ll rapidly design and develop your proof of concept app over a 36 hour period.
What is a Hackathon?
A hackathon is like a marathon for coders and designers. It’s a fast-paced collaborative event whereby a team is given a goal to achieve within a set time period. Hackathons have been described as “hotbeds for innovation” and many large tech companies use them to generate new ideas and products.
Working alongside two highly experienced iPhone app developers and an expert UI/UX designer, you will work through the night to plan out, design, code and test a functional iOS app. In 36 hours you’ll achieve what can normally take weeks, ultimately having an app ready for release on the App Store..

Who is eligible?
The Proof Program™ is not for every app or for everybody. We only take on a maximum of two Proof™ projects per month and we assess every application to the program using the following criteria:
- Do we believe in the idea?
- Is there a market for the app?
- Can the core function of the app idea be realistically achieved in 36 hours?
- Is the concept simple enough to demonstrate in a proof of concept?
- Does the applicant have a good understanding of their market?
- Does the applicant have the right temperament to work collaboratively in a high pressure environment?
If the answer to all of these questions is YES, you and your project may be a good fit for the Proof Program™. If so, a hackathon will be scheduled based on your availibility and our capacity.

The Proof Program™ – A Fast iPhone App Development Process
Step 1
Submit your application for consideration or call to discuss your concept with us. All concepts are assessed using the criteria listed above.
Step 2
Successful applicants will then attend a Proof workshop at the DreamWalk office, where we put together a project roadmap.
Step 3
You will then join our experts in a Proof Hackathon™. This is where your app is designed and developed using fast app development techniques.
Step 4
If you’d like to add any features to your proof of concept app, these can then be scheduled for development after the hackathon.
